Tuning

Post by George Duncan Sypert »

Doug what is the B 11th tuning low to high for a six or 8 string. I don't currently have either one, just curious.

Thanks.

New Book

Post by Brian Straub »

Doug is my steel teacher and I just picked up this new book Saturday at lesson. Worked on some songs over the weekend..Very well done as usual with alternate tunings...great songs too.

Bump for another great book by Doug.

Tunings

Post by Steven Tekulsky »

Doug: I own one of your C6 books and CD for lap steel, and it is excellent. Are you saying that the lap steel with C6 tuning can be retuned to B11 and A6 - no change in strings?

Thanks, Steven

Yes, no change of strings. The same strings work for all three tunings. Just retune them. Thanks.
