Do you need a specific value tone pot to achieve Kayton's effects? They cannot be done with mine.
Don't go in the water after lunch. You'll get a cramp and drown. - Mother.

Use a bigger capacitor like a 0.1mF

I am thinking that Chris Scruggs would know something about the about the specifics of Kaytons Steel Guitar. They spent a lot of time together.
