Thanks for everything, Al. You were a great mentor for me starting out in T.O. in the early 70’s.

Al,
It's been some time since our paths last crossed. You were instrumental in my purchase of a Carter in Dallas. Always enjoyed our conversations at the Dallas shows, especially later on in the evenings. I wish you the best my friend!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words you have conveyed to me. It is much appreciated!

Unfortunately everything in life usually has an 'active time factor', which is quite often difficult to accept.

Thankfully, I still have some playing to do.
Best Wishes,
Al Brisco

Thanks for your service, Al. I too am one of the countless number of players over the years who you have assisted and advised. It’s another “who’s gonna fill their shoes” moment for us. I’m glad you now will have the time and energy to keep on playing to your heart’s content. Go man.

Thank you Al for all you have done for the steel community in Canada and around the world. My pedal steel journey would have been very different without you in it - might not have existed at all, truthfully.

You will be sorely missed, but I wish you all the best in retirement. You have given so much joy to so many people through the steel guitar.

All the best,

Tom

Al, all the best to you! That Emmons S10 P/P is still a great guitar and a favorite over the years. Thanks for all your help in getting that little gem to me!
