She's a hoot for sure. Entertainer extraordinaire. Nice to see a couple of forum members featured in this one.

Brennen Leigh sure is something, she's been around for years, I never heard of her till about 9 months ago. She has a new album just out her last album was with Asleep at the Wheel and maybe my favorite is her Leigh Sings Lefty (Frizzell) album, great album cover too. she's like a country queen you never heard before. Lots of her with combinations of other people on youtube. Thanks for bringing her up Olaf 👍

Brennen Leigh has been 'popular' around Austin for a long time, it's great to see her get a bit more recognition, and I love that song! Along those same 'geographical' lines, try this one. Bonus points if you know where this was recorded.

I found about her about a year ago. She does a lot of different styles, an eclectic mix of songs. Agree with the comment above, her Leigh Sings Lefty (Frizzell) album is really great. She has a an awesome feel for Lefty’s songs.

Lee, from South Texas - Down On The Rio Grande

There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

Cute video! The song was written by Mallory Eagle who also played the truck driver in the video. She's an OKC girl, and has been fairly successful with her writing and singing lately. She was at one of our shows a couple of weeks ago hanging out with our fiddle gal, who also works some dates with her.
Best lyric in a country song: "...One more, Moon..."

Ah! I forgot, I thought you were in San Antonio. Still this one was recorded at CherryRidge Studios in Floresville, TX, Tommy Detamore's studio. And of course that's Tommy on steel guitar. I've had the pleasure of recording there a few times myself, and it's such a great vibe... other than having Tommy watch while you play of course. :-)

And a brief glimpse of Joshua Hedley, who puts on a great show himself. (for example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_AP8KGazPA )
Many play better than I do. Nobody has more fun.
