Andy, I'm glad you like my string pull video. The Cadd9 tuning I'm using is an easy re-tune from C6. No need to change strings. Four of the strings are tuned down a whole step or more, so they're kinda floppy and easier to pull behind the bar.

I'm working on this technique and finding it really difficult - keeping hold of the bar properly when I bend, and just the strength need to pull up to pitch. I'm about to try lighter strings.

Chris should do a Lap Steel Method. He has so much knowledge about lap steel that we could all learn from.

Yes, the Chris Scruggs steel demo is a "must-see" video. The guy is an important player, with very broad interests.
Don't go in the water after lunch. You'll get a cramp and drown. - Mother.
