Was the front apron burned at some point? What is the discolorization on the front left apron?

Don my man, I believe that the discoloration on both ends comes from the place that it rests in the case. Seems that the Lacquer had a reaction with the foam in case. (Case is fairly old)
Only cosmetic! The underneath is spik and span!

Did you try to buff out the discoloration? Is it reparable?

I have heard this on many posts. But the fact is that a Fingertip set up properly almost never goes out of tune. I had a 66 and it held tune. If they were so terrible, I'm curious as why a lot of players are trying to find them!
