Any SoCal steeler know how Jim is doing?

Just hoping he is OK.

As far as I know, Jim is fine and still in Simi Valley.
I don't have his number, but can reach out to him for you if you like.

David, I hope you find Jim doing well and still picking. I have met him and heard him play several times. A good picker he is. I spent some time in Simi Valley and ran across him there. J.R. Rose

Thanks guys!

Skip, I think Jim still has my email, but of course he can contact me through the forum. Nothing urgent... just thought I'd touch base... I so seldom get to LA anymore.

As far as I know, this could be the last time you were in LA David. Perl-Jam 2010.

I'm doing good. Playing the Ventura Fair again this year. It will be our 14th time @ VCF.

I play the "Carmines county corner" livestreaming internet show on facebook at 6:00 sundays now and again.

And you can find some stuff I have posted on U-Tube.
"jimeatonmusic" will take you to my page

Rember, your never out of tune until the bar stops moving!

Wow, how time slips away.

So glad you are still out there playing (folks, if you haven't heard Jim play, and you are in the area.... go hear a great PSG player!).

So, I decided to post a more recent picture of myself Jim. This is the band of folks I've been with for the last 4 years... they just love Waylon, and Mooney.... how could I say "No"? :)

Wow Jim, I've spent the evening listening to your postings on youtube.... so nice!

The band I'm with now are called The Hill Country Truckers.. and I have to say, it's a fun group to be on stage with.

Here's a youtube link to one of their songs:

Sadly on June 2nd we're opening for Whitey Morgan and the 78's in the Fresno area... but still not south enough for LA :)
