MSA Owner's Manual: Copedent Typo?

Post by Ben Feldman »

https://www.steelguitar.com/manuals/MSA ... Manual.pdf

Was just looking over this owner's manual to reference the factory set up of the d-12 copedent and noticed:

All the E9 copedents have "A" strings instead of G#.

I assume this is a typo, but does anybody know if A strings were included anywhere in the MSA e9 12 string factory copedent (i.e. maybe an A on string 11) or should all three A strings on the ext-E9 actually be G#s?

I believe those are Ab strings.

There is a symbol next to the A.

Thanks, Lee.

Oops!

Strange to me that they are called Ab rather than G# but that's just semantics.

I guess this thread can be closed now.
