Terry Wood Annual Steel Guitar Show

Post by Terry Wood »

On Saturday April 22nd at The Conway Senior Center in Conway Missouri, I'll be hosting my 21st Steel Guitar Show. We have a Great line up of Steel Guitarists and Singers along with great backup musicians. It's a one day event and it works. We've had a lot of Great talent over the years. I'll post a schedule soon. Please don't text me and say your bringing your whole band. We have a Great group of backup musicians. It doesn't make people sound any better to drag in a whole band. Also the event is FREE! Thanks!

Thank you Larry! Yes we have a great time and a lot of great music.

The friendship, the fellowship, the music, and memories are worth it all.

It's all FREE to everyone.

I have hosted 21 shows this time and we featured over 70 steel guitarists during those years and many singers and other instrumentalists. It's been Awesome! Every Steel Guitarist that I ever heard played and sounded different.

Come join us for a fun entertaining day!

Love Steel Guitars and Love the Players!

As you requested Terry, I will play the Beatles song, "All My Lovin". You will also get to hear my version of Sukiyaki. Denver Callahan and I will play San Antonio Stroll like we used to do in Randy Clair's band. Also going to play high speed version of Wheels. By request Harbor Lights, and Back At The Chicken Shack. More songs if I have time.

Yes thanks to Everyone!

I am real excited about this line up of players, singers and musicians.

Keith I'm looking forward to hearing you play those great songs. You will do a fantastic job.

Larry I am glad you and Jeanne are coming to this show. Jo is looking forward to seeing your wife again.

We are anticipating a very large crowd for our show. This year we are going to a larger and nicer building. The folks at the Conway Senior Center provide great fellowship, friendship and excellent food too.

I am excited because I get to introduce my new wife Jolene! We have been dating for 17 months and decided to get married. She loves Music and is supportive of my Steel Guitar endeavors. She is a Sweetheart.

So come on out and enjoy a big celebration! Remember it's
FREE ADMISSION to this show.

Thanks and May GOD bless you all! Love my Musician Friends!

It was a great show and I want to thank Terry and Jolene Wood for the hospitality and hard work organizing and putting on this great event. Also the staff band, all the crew and guest singers plus the excellent players who made this possible. We had a wonderful time visiting and listening to some real country music.

We want to thank all the great musicians, singers, and friends who helped us to make this Steel Guitar Show a success! Thanks to the Conway Senior Center staff for their help and the great food they served. This was number 21 Steel Guitars and Singers Show. It once again proved to me that Y'all don't have to have a Big Show to have top notch quality musicians and singers! Thanks to all who helped. GOD bless Y'all!
