Pedal Steel Maintenance in NC

Post by Dan Ray »

Howdy everyone,
I know that Mr. Billy Knowles has a great shop over in Kenansville, I was just wondering if anyone knew of anyone that does maintenance anywhere closer to the Triangle?

Thanks!

What’s the issue with the guitar?

You may try reaching out to Doug Palmer in GSO. Last time I had him work on mine, he had switched up to teaching me how to work on it myself verses doing it for hire. Just changing the copedent around with his instruction taught me enough to be comfortable working on an all pull guitar.

I have heard great things from Doug also, unfortunately he has officially retired. Thank you for the suggestion

Dan, I’m in Charlotte if that helps you. Not sure what you’re wanting done on your guitar, but if you’re interested just send me a message.
