It is with heavy heart that we share with you that Mr. Tommy Young passed away tonight around 9:30 PM. Rest In Peace our friend, you will be missed.

Oh no. Tommy was surely one of the good guys.
AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. My current rig of choice is 1993 Emmons LeGrande w/ 108 pups (Jack Strayhorn built for me), Goodrich OMNI Volume Pedal, George L's cables, Goodrich Baby Bloomer and Peavey Nashville 112. Can't get much sweeter.

Tommy was my friend for more than 30 years. He loved any & everything related with Steelguitar. He was one of those guys that could fix anything & had much experience in areas that related to Steelguitars.
Tommy developed a modification he called MaxTone that enhanced sustain & tone to many different brands of guitars & in most cases helped the guitar to hold its tuning.
Many of us will certainly miss him.

R.I.P Tommy we would talk when we were at steel guitar shows. Condolences to his family and friends. HE had good knowledge and love steel guitars. He will be missed by all.

When my wife had a her milligram done the first time, Tommy talked to put my mind at ease. He was definitely one of the good good ones. He will be missed for sure.
