Snake Bite, Wally Moyers

Post by Wally Moyers »

This is my newest song “Snake Bite”, an attempt to write something a little different for the Steel and myself. Personally, I listen to many styles of music, and this song gives me a chance to actually dive in and try some things. "Snake Bite" has been a long time coming since my last release in 2016. Time does fly!  I have 8 more songs in various stages of production, that I plan to finish soon. You will hear two of my grandsons, Haydn and Clay, and my two youngest sons, Brady and Breck, all playing horns. They are fine musicians on other instruments as well. Honored to have Breck in the video, and also assist in the production! You’ll see Brady, along with Breck, in the ‘running' clip we did at White Sands. My friend Skip Edwards, covered the B3 and keyboard parts. Skip lives in Los Angeles and is an amazing player! Google him and you’ll see what he’s been up to.  Joy Harris played bass, as she did on my last two songs. Her playing always makes me smile! She’s amazing!! My brother Ricky appears in the video playing drums. He is a total Rockstar, but most importantly, a wonderful person.  I’m so proud to have him join me on this project! Carly Baker is singing lead vocals. Her dad Allen, has been one of my best friends since 1987 when he taught me to fly.  So I’ve known Carly since the day she was born!  She’s an awesome singer as you will hear. Last but not least is LaTronda, my incredible wife of almost 26 years. LaTronda is a great singer, but also has an amazing musical sense. She’ll always be honest with me about anything creative, and her input makes what I do better!  My sons Jeremy and Swade are both studio guys, so they’re my last buffer before I say I’m done. I totally trust their ears!  Oh, and by the way, the entire video was shot on an iPhone.

"Snake Bite" will be on all the streaming sites and be available for download, as well as on my YouTube channel.  I hope you enjoy the song!
Please give it a share if you do. I would really appreciate it!
