Steel Jam, Columbus, OH June 10
The next steel jam in Columbus will be June 10 at 11 AM.
Location: El Vaquero (Mexican food restaurant) 3230 Olentangy River Road, Columbus.
Just off highway 315 (near Riverside Hospital) take the North Broadway exit. Directly across the street from Channel 4 TV station. Look for the tower. El Vaquero has several locations, make sure you come to the Olentangy location
El Vaquero has a large back dining room with plenty of space for the jam. And is a full service facility including a bar. The jam will be open to everyone who wants to come in and will be free. But you buy your own food. Full menu with table service.
There is a back door to the room on the West side of the building, just drive around the left side to the back. Set up begins at 9 AM with the first music around 11 AM.
I will provide PA, bass amp and a couple of guitar amps. Bring your own steel and amp.
Also if you play guitar or bass bring your instrument. (I play upright.) Please advise if you want to play bass or guitar for a set or two.
Finances: There was a deposit for the room. If there is enough food purchases to offset the deposit and server the deposit will be refunded. If I have to pay a drummer and/or bass player, there may be tip box near by.
Any questions, please post or PM
