Here’s an entire episode from a Toronto taping:

I’ve read a few threads but I don’t think the Canadian steeler has ever been identified. You can get a good close up of him starting at around 20 minutes in.

You can buy 4 episodes from 1964 on dvd here:

Here’s an entire episode with Red Rhodes and Roger Miller:

In 1998, Glen Campbell talked about "Star Route" when he was on The George Jones Show on TNN with George, Kenny Chesney, and Danni Leigh. There was a clip that George showed of Glen on the show.

Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy are two syndicated television shows that are popular today. On most stations they play at 7 PM weekdays. Divorce Court, The Peoples Court and The Kelly Clarkson show are three that seem to show up either in the afternoon or real late at night. All the reruns of Seinfeld, Cheers and Night Court are sold to television stations through syndicates.

I don't remember seeing Star Route on any of the Charleston, SC stations. Saturday afternoon from noon to 6 PM was pretty much devoted to local or syndicated country shows from Nashville on both stations as well as the third when it came on the air.
