National Squareneck question

Post by Peter Krebs »

I’m sure this has been asked before, just couldn’t find the right thread.
Is there a string set available out there that’ll work with a Nat’l squareneck tuned A6, or will I just have to cobble one together? Thanks!

Not that I've found. I just ordered a bunch of single strings.

A6 strings

Post by Jeff Repp »

I used this site to set up my national with an appropriate A6 set. I ordered the single strings from Just Strings (I used regular phosphor bronze bass strings instead of breaking a semi flat set apart). Works very well.
