Dm+7 ???

This'll be an easy one for most of you fellas. But what is the difference between a Dm7 chord and a Dm+7 chord and a Dmadd7 chord?

I will certainly defer to the experts, but I can't say as I've seen either of the latter two examples before.

Dm+7 makes me think D minor sharp 5 b7, which makes me think someone mislabeled a Bb first inversion chord

I've seen these over the years in different sheet music. After 48 years of playing steel, some aspects of chord construction still baffle me.

That's pretty ambiguous.

Perhaps a Dm with a #7, which could be looked at as a Dm with a Major 7?

Harold - if I ran into this I'd look at what the next chord is to get some context - but, I'd probably play D-F-A-C#. A minor chord with a raised 7th as opposed to the standard Dm7 - D-F-A-C. I think that's what they're trying to indicate with the +7.

D minor 7 is a 1, flat 3, and flat 7. ( D, F C)
D Minor, Major 7th= 1, flat 3, Major 7 also called a D Minor/Major 7th

D, F, C sharp) This is a dissonant chord and depends on the voicing and where to put it in a progression.
