This song has a really neat steel part. Any ideas on how to tackle it?
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; praise is meet for the upright. Give praise to the Lord with the harp, chant unto Him with the ten-stringed psaltery. Sing unto Him a new song, chant well unto Him with jubilation. For the word of the Lord is true, and all His works are in faithfulness. The Lord loveth mercy and judgement; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
- Psalm 33:1-5

John -- Strangely enough, I'm nearly certain that's me playing steel. I did a recording session with Mazzy Star in the early '90s and I never knew if any of the songs were released. That sure sounds like my style/tone/approach in those days. LOL!

I'll have to listen back but I don't believe there's anything particularly difficult in there. One of the licks that goes from a D minor chord to a G major is just 13th fret strings 4 & 5 (A pedal), then 13th fret strings 1 & 2, then 13 fret strings 3 & 4 and slide up to 15th fret and hit B&C pedals and then slowly release them.

Hope this helps. And thank you for letting me know that my tracks WERE used! :)
