Hey There

Post by Jim Saunders »

I don't see Herb Steiner listed. Could he be one of the "many more?" Hopefully I will be there. Looking forward to another great show.

You might want to correct Randy Beaver to Randy Beavers. :-)

Hey all, stupid question - kinda new here and never been to one of these…will there be new or used pedal steels for sale here? Is this a good place to shop for or buy a first pedal steel?

Thanks

yes

there will be new and used steels for sale.
this would be a great place to buy.
it also might be a good idea to post in the "wanted to buy' section, as someone driving to the show may bring one for sale if you express an interest.

I was there last year my first time. Prominent builders had a room or booth with a couple items for sale but not a swap meet. Perhaps in the future a room could be setup for that?

I made arrangements ahead of time to buy a used guitar there. Super convenient and I got to see it in person before having it shipped to me.

Just registered and made reservations for my first Jamboree trip! I see the seminars listed on the flyer for Fri, Sat, Sun. Is it a free for all jam thursday night? If so is there a backline? I'm thinking I could bring my bass as well.

I am definitely excited about this year! Cory Thigpen, I'm looking forward to seeing you at the class as well. I am definitely practicing my chops too. I can't wait to see everyone there! This one will be a phenomenal show! BTW...I will be teaching 3 different classes this year. No pedal on Thursday am, E9 on Friday am, and C6 on Saturday am. These are all beginner to intermediate in structure. If you're a seasoned player, you will definitely be able to learn something from one of the classes. See Y'all there!!
