Nick Fryer Pickups shout out

Post by Dennis Waltman »

I first heard about Nick Fryer pickups through some video endorsements from Chris Scruggs and Lee Jeffries. My 1956 D8 Fender Stringmaster had some imbalance issues between the two necks. Nick guided me as I performed some troubleshooting which revealed a bad winding on one of the original pickups. After reviewing some options with Nick, I chose to have him rewind the bad original PU and remagnetize the others. I had an issue upon reassembly that he assisted me with and now that I’m playing the steel again, I couldn’t be more pleased with how it sounds. Nick’s customer service is excellent as is his quality work.

I recently purchased one of Nick's pickups for my Sho~Bud and could not be more pleased. And Nick is a super guy to do business with.

Nic does great work! Recently fixed a pick up for my Rickenbacker DW 16. It sounds just as good as the other now. I need to post an example of how good it sounds.

You’ll find him with a quick search on Facebook.
