That's a hot ride, alright, and Lloyd might've been my guess, too. Prague Frank has it down as Weldon Myrick.
On There's Something Lonely in this House—one of the other two songs cut on the same session with Louisiana Man—the first fill after the vocals start is a distinctive Weldon phrasing. However, the very next fill is a a Hal Rugg signature.
Weldon can fool you at times, and he and Hal and Lloyd could certainly have some stylistic overlap.
