And from Branson, Dean Holman on steel guitar, Dino Strunk on guitar, Seth Darby on bass, Jacob Wells on drums and Ron Williams on vocals.

This show will be recorded and aired at a later date on “SteelRadio.org”. Ted Smouse will be our MC for the day. Ted is the new GM and music director of SteelRadio which will be coming online this fall.

If you’re in the area, come join us for an afternoon of music and see how the Steel Guitar Hall Of Fame has grown.

Sincerely,

Hey, Mike! Great to hear that SteelRadio is coming back and you couldn't have made a better choice than to have Ted Smouse as the GM & music director. I look forward to listening once again. Wish I could make the live event but it's a tad far for me.

All best wishes,
Jim

Thank you Jim Cohen for the kind words about SteelRadio and my involvement. I'll be posting more about the radio station as we get closer to going live. For now, the website is under construction, but can be found at www.steelradio.org -and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit under The Steel Guitar Hall of Fame, Inc. (SGHOF). The station will run in the manner similar to a community radio station with listener support, business underwriting, and will be internet-only, 24/7. I'm looking forward to being at Stovall's for the event, hearing the music, seeing long-time friends and meeting new folks!

Dino and Dean was smoking hot and Ron Williams added the necessary spice of fine vocals to the mix. Seth was dead on with bass and vocals. Just excellent work from this talented bunch. I was happy to see some of my friends and make a few new ones. Very pleased that Michael Scott put on this event and Ted is going to revive the Steel Radio broadcast 24x7. There is plans for future events in the works.
