Sierra 12st Non-Pedal console steel guitar

Image For Sale:
Beautiful Sierra S-12 non-pedal console steel. This is beautiful and plays and sounds great. Has a slide in, slide out - quick change pickup. The pickup is a “ToneAligner”.
This guitar has “folding legs”.
This was a pedal steel in it’s previous life. The undercarriage was removed and converted into non-pedal. The changer remains in it and is functional is you ever wanted it to be pedal steel again. My project was going to be converting it to hand/palm levers utilizing the changer and was even thinking of possibly “servos”. Never got around to it.
I played it as an extended E13 12 string. But, you can put any tuning on it you want. Gorgeous condition.
If you think 12 strings is too much for you. You can always remove some strings and make it a 10 or 8 string. This is really well built.
It does NOT have a case, but I do have a keyboard gig bag I will include.
Please PM more questions to me with your contact info and phone. We can chat more. Also I for have more pictures.
The price is $1450 including shipping in lower 48 in US. Anywhere else you must cover shipping charges. Thanks.
My best to all.
Kurt

Sierra Undercarriage

Post by Kurt Kowalski »

For Nicolas, (and others)
Here are pictures of undercarriage. But, as stated in original post. It is empty. Changer is still intact.
No I do not have the parts that were removed. There are no pedals or pedal bar. This is how I got it. If you want parts, you will have to source them through “others”. This guitar is setup for non-pedal.
To answer questions by others. No trades I have too many steels at the moment. Thanks Kurt
