This is dated August 5. NPR reports on the 11th album featuring "young talent and uprooted lesser-known vets who primarily perform solo guitar."

This year, pedal steel is in the spotlight. Here's one young player.

according to the recent NYT article she's 57 years old, which surprised me. her online bio says her music career began in 1991
1965 Emmons S-10, 3x5 • Emmons LLIII D-10, 10x12 • JCH D-10, 10x12 • Beard MA-8 • Oahu Tonemaster

Good catch, Scott. 57 is not young, so maybe "lesser-known"?

The cuts on the album are mostly ambient/spacy works. Some names that I hadn't heard of before, excepting B J Cole.

Chris, some on here may agree with you. Others of us, sadly, do not! :(
Many play better than I do. Nobody has more fun.

Ha ha, Don! I know, one's perspective changes, doesn't it?

I wish I were (again) 57--but knew what I know now.
