AER Basic Performer (Acoustic) Bass Amp - $900

Post by Matthew Walton »

Selling this AER Basic Performer acoustic bass amplifier. It's made for an acoustic upright bass and is perfect for that, but it sounds just as great when I play my 5-string electric through it! 200 W (4 x 50 W) total power, driving 4 x 8" twin-cone speakers (2 front facing, 2 woofers). Also has a second channel that can be used for a microphone or another instrument. Includes phantom power, compressor, and notch filter.

In quite good condition: the black protective coating has worn through in a few corners from being used over the years. The front foam cover has fallen off, but there's still a very strong metal secondary grill to keep everything safe. The soft cover has a couple of tears from the large heat sink in the back (see picture), but you could easily repair it with an iron-on patch.

Performance-wise, works wonderfully. I had it looked over by a tech and everything works as expected. All the pots and switches are nicely silent.

Now asking $900. Not looking to ship it at this point.

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking!

If something I wrote can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant the other one.
