USB out of mixer into laptop. Listen with headphones, the crummy laptop speaker, or connect the speaker/headphones output on the laptop to a nice little studio monitor.

Do you have recording software? Reaper, Cakewalk by Bandlab, Garage Band, etc., all should recognize your mixer. You’ll probably have to download and install a driver.

Anyhow please give me a proper guideline about this. you have already given me software names. I didn't load that. would I have to install anything for the interface or soundcard? I am not comfortable to operate everything. I have to need to get help from my friend.
thanks for your help.

Your mixer is an audio interface. You should be able to select it as a preferred device in Audacity. As I said before, you may need to download and install a compatible driver, and also there may be I/O settings that need to be entered to get the mixer and Audacity to communicate properly.

I/O = Input/Output.
You should definitely get a techy friend to help you get set up.
