A while back there was a topic regarding different tuning wrenches and someone posted a pic of a stubby screw driver modified with a nut driver. I thought that was a good idea and was prepared to saw off the Phillips end of stubby, drill out and epoxy a 3/16 nut driver into the stubby.
However, in my bunch of screw drivers I found this Stubby screwdriver that has a pull out hex extension with a Phillips insert on one end and regular tip on the other. I picked up a cheap hex nut driver set made for a drill or electric screwdriver and the 3/16 bit fit in the extension. No modification needed.
On my Williams keyless, you need more than a standard endplate tuning wrench to torque hex nuts that tighten the strings. Pretty cool tool
