Custom built 1950s recreations.

Post by Jeff Metz Jr. »

I am now set up to take on more custom orders for my vintage inspired 50’s guitar recreations. I specialize in T (blackguard) style guitars but I also build “S” style and early bass designs.

My Guitars are made with extreme attention to detail.
Starting with only the lightest, most resonant swamp ash, alder, and pine.
Bodies and necks are finished with Custom formulated nitro lacquer.
From “vintage new” options to Light aging all the way to beat into the dirt, I will work closely with you to guarantee your satisfaction.
Everything is done as authentic and tasteful as possible.

Hand wound pickups
Hand made Bakelite pickguards.
Custom machined hardware to 50’s specs.

Thats a very good job on the relic blonde beauty. Very realistic unlike so many of them out there these days.

These look like little masterpieces! The second one down (lying on the gig-bag) would be my choice.

Great work, by the look of them, and competitively priced.
