My Thanks To The TSGA

Post by Randy Beavers »

I want to express my gratitude to Albert, Debbie, and everyone for having me at this years Jamboree. It’s been around 12 years since I was last there. It was great seeing old friends and making some new ones as well. I wasn’t in the best shape being just 6 weeks from having back surgery so I had to sit down more than I wanted to. But I survived even the ride both ways on what now passes for interstate highways. I predict major road construction in the near future.

Thanks again to the band for a great job, even though I wrote out my charts while under heavy influence of pain killers. That was embarrassing. 🤨. I’m glad it was brought to my attention beforehand. I could only plead temporary insanity.

I hope to see everyone again in the near future. 🤠

Was great that you were able to come out, and hear you live in both the MSA room and main stage... Best Tone, I've EVER heard, and your play spectacular.

Randy, it was great seeing and hearing you again. You are playing better than ever. I don't know how you made that trip after back surgery. Man, them interstates are bad as bad can get. I hope to see you in Atlanta in September the good Lord welling.

It was great to spend time with you and an honor to be in the band behind you, Randy. And yes, a couple of those charts were definitely among the most memorable of my steel guitar show “career”.

So glad you are on the mend. Looking forward to the next time! Atlanta in September!

Randall, you put on a very emotional show and your playing was absolutely awesome! I especially liked the Buddy Emmons gospel song. I’ve never heard that song but it brought tears to my and your eyes. I would certainly love a copy of that song!

I totally agree, Randy and thanks for the few minutes we chatted. I was completely choked up by your emotional playing.
