Jack, I have large shoes to fill. But working with Adam is a pleasure. Nice young guy, grew up and now lives again local to me. Spent a few years in Nashville, good baritone country voice, a pretty darned good guitar player, and a good and dedicated song writer.
I guess he had a lead guitar player when you were working with him. It's actually really nice to not have to contend with that. It's pretty hard to step on myself.

Mike, this place still is pretty much a country-only venue. One of the few around these parts. The flavor of the music has changed some since the 80s. But it's still country, and they love steel guitar - we get tons of props for having steel in the band. And one of the few anymore where you set up on Friday and tear down on Sunday.
Good BYOB Italian restaurant called Fabio's nearby. That is something in short supply in Central PA. Drives me nuts - I grew up in Boston, my grandfather was born and grew up in the North End. Good Italian food was everywhere growing up for me.
Can you tell I like this gig?

Yeah, I was just in NJ visiting my daughter and one of my old friends for Thanksgiving. Also got to spend an afternoon with Mike Neer over in Princeton. Good times, I'd fit right in. Good restaurants of all types.
My friend Bill has been trying to blast me out of PA for a while. He's over in Atlantic Highlands, real nice over there. His wife is from Westfield, BTW. I honestly like where I am a lot. OK, not the restaurants, LOL. But I'm pretty dug in here, for the time being, anyway. And we get down to the place in Nashville quite a bit. When I run outta musicians to work with - well, that will push me to go somewhere else.

Small world, NJ is good but very expensive and getting more crowded, I was in PA this weekend with my son near Bethlehem and ran into this cool town Northhampton, I was blown away, like going back in time, nice old downtown with a vibrant old movie theatre (The Roxy), well kept classic homes, made me want to get out of here.
But being self employed, its hard and I've been in the same town for 57 years besides my college years in Texas. BUt I would not change it if I could.
Wonder who your friend is from Westfield, its a good town and tight knit, just watch out for the Watcher, my wife grew up across the street from that house. There's a Netflix show very very loosely based on a house in our town.
