New 'Split' album with Talk West (aka Dylan Golden Aycock)

Hi All

Scissor Tail Records, an independent label out of Tulsa contacted me last Summer interested in getting my stuff out there. Here is the first offering, a 'split' album with another very interesting steel player Talk West (aka Dylan Golden Aycock). A full vinyl album will be released soon, entitled the Collected Pedal Steel Guitar Recordings. Not bad eh?

Many thanks Paul. Yes, it's an interesting mix of styles I think. I'll be doing a solo album with the label very soon...watch out for it!

I listened to some tracks, Nice work, Gary, with many different styles--ambient, folky. Great to see new directions for PSG.

I'm now in a 4 piece that is going in similar directions with steel and guitars: spacy/wistful, some fairly driving/ jazzy stuff.

Thanks Dan. I get the feeling that CDs are even more old tech than cassettes! Who would believe it? Anyway, wait for the vinyl...it'll be with it: promise!
