On another note, one common baritone tuning uses the 151351 sequence like open D or open E, except dropped down to open B. B F# B D# F# B D, or C, C G C E G C. You might want to tune differently of course, especially given the options available via the palm pedals.

I tune my American Strat/Dobro Neck down to baritone range open C, C G C E G C...using that open D or E shape. 15s-58s.
