Emmons D-10, 8x5, (Sold)

Post by Duane Dunard »

Consignment for the Larry Gerdeman family.

Nice clean 1970 Emmons D-10 push-pull, 8x5, rosewood mica finish, Emmons pickups, standard height, Emmons copedent with the E's on the left leg, leg pouch and road case with wheels, normal cosmetic wear but still looks and sounds great. (Sold)

I don't really want to ship this guitar, but would consider driving a reasonable distance to meet a buyer. Located in Troy, MO, near St.Louis. I will also be at the Dallas show if you would like to take delivery at that time. Please message me here or my Facebook Messenger for questions. Thanks for looking.

Holy Smokes Duane....
That Emmons looks so clean!
It looks like it has been rebuilt or is a very, very low mileage guitar.
Who set that guitar up?

It should sell soon.
Microphones, Recording, and lots of pedal steel guitars!

Emmons D-10

Post by Bill Erchul »

I owned this fine rosewood Emmons D-10 before Larry and wanted to add a few more details to help Duane make the sale. The original owner was Bert Rivera, who bought it new from the factory in September 1970 (Serial #1378D, Invoice #4953, Order #850). Billy Knowles sold me the guitar in August 2009 after he completely rebuilt it. I then sold it to Larry in March 2012. More info may be found here:

I remember that guitar when Bert was playing it. Someone got a good horn.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?
