We had a steeler that came up to Canada
and played during the sixties and seventies
by the name of Shady Brown.He played a ZB
and eventually went back to the states.Anyone
remember him?

The steel the gentleman mentioned ended up in Germany, Someone there contacted his widow Helen not long after he passed, she sold it to him
He is buried in Burleson Tx.

I knew Shadey Brown in the 50s
Shadey was playing out on the Jacksboro highway and had one home made pedal. I dont recall what kind of steel he had at the time. He showed me what the pedal did. I was playing fiddle on the old cow town hoe down here in Ft. He got me into steel guitar which i never forgave him for. (only kidding). Tracy
