Hello everybody,
The signal from my Fender 2000 is cutting out entirely, but only when I press down the pedals all the way. Happens on both necks. Anybody ever run into something like this? My first thought was a bad connection, but I can't find anything under the guitar. I did have one of the changers out of the guitar recently for cleaning.

Loosen the nut on the guitar jack, rotate the jack slightly, and then re-tighten it. |

Agreed, or look for a wire thats rubbed bare touching something when pedals are depressed.. those old fender steels don't "flex" much compared to other steels as they are set in that massive rigid frame, but the fact that it happens only when you press the pedals and on either neck tells me its in the output jack or the wires leading to it, or the neck selector switch or the wires leading to that... _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
