That is remarkable! Tremendous musicianship from all, especially Doug, Tommy and Brent Mason. Ray Von Rotz on drums, too, with whom I was lucky enough to tour a few years ago. He was great playing the 'Patsy' tunes and he's right in the pocket here.
Peter: thanks for spreading this around!

Peter: I know what you mean! Reading that old thread I see that I've heard it before and that I thought enough of it to share. How could I have forgotten it?
A senior moment from me, too.

Penn also has an album, "The Many Styles of Penn Pennington" available on Apple Music and Amazon, etc. I can't find musician credits, but I hear some very good steel playing.
For all I know it's Penn, a remarkable talent. You can check it out on YouTube.

Upbeat ensemble
I’m reminded of Les Paul/Mary Ford in 50’s broadcasts. It was ANALOG but went along just as well, to similar ‘layering’ formats.
