André passed over a year ago - November 17, 2020 - https://www.tdpri.com/threads/r-i-p-and ... r.1055090/

I got my first of his books in the mid-1980s. He was a very important influence in the vintage guitar movement. He took a passionate but scholarly approach to the subject, and I still use his books as a reference.

I bought his Telecaster book from Gruhn Guitars in 1994. (I couldn't afford the 1938 Martin D-28, so I bought the Tele book instead.)
