New Toy for Retirement
Being's I just retired I decided to treat myself to a new Mullen an S-10, Burgundy Pointe G2. It took a little longer than expected but really worth the wait. I can't get over how easy it is to play, the pedals and knee levers are so easy to engage and I do like the standard single coil pickup.
It was also nice to get a follow up call from Mike Mantey just to make sure I was satisfied with the purchase.
Just Thanks to the whole crew at Mullen!

That's a great looking guitar. I saw that Mullen was offering a S-10 now. I'm glad to see one.

There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.
Williams Keyless S-10, BMI S-10, Evans FET-500LV, Fender Steel King, 2 Roland Cube 80XL's,
Sarno FreeLoader, Goodrich Passive Volume Pedals, Vintage ACE Pack-A-Seat

The best thing about buying a Mullen G2? Knowing you'll never need to upgrade to something better!
When I bought my G2 back in 2018 I knew it was my forever pedal steel. Congrats on yours and enjoy your retirement

Not to hijack John's thread, but here's my Mullen G2 S-10, single body, purchased earlier this year. The extra wide body in the rear took some getting used to, but I find that it's very handy for setting accessories on (and beer). As I mentioned above, I've played this on 85 gigs so far this season and the guitar has played like a dream. Stays in tune well, very smooth and accurate, and hasn't broken a string yet.
