I just heard of Howard Gregory's passing.
We were young sailers in the radio gang on an aircraft carrier.
He had his steel and amps and that @#$%!!! reverb box with him but we played electric guitars mostly.
What a genius he was and natural musician even in his teens.
We both bought Guyatone electric guitars in Japan.
He tought me much.
I have many memories of (we called him Greg) and have thought of him often.
Sorry I am for anyone who didn't know him.
Howard Gregory...

I had forgotten until now but I remember Howard's outstanding imitation of a Texas City radio station announcer.Finis Spier wrote:i played in a band in texas city howard was only a teenager i helped him put pedals on a d ten fender run two rods up thru the key head worked okay he was a fun guy we had fun played for adrian roland
