So.. a few years back Kluesen announced at NAMM they would be manufacturing replacement 8- and 10- string tuning machines and pans for Fender steel...
with the passing of time.. umm.. NOTHING.
Has anyone here found or attempted to retrofit or re-engineer the tuners on a Fender or Fender Sho Bud?

The guy that sells the NOS Sho~Bud parts (not pirated from older guitars) may have some that says "Sho~Bud" on them.Virgil Franklin wrote:10- string tuning machines and pans for Fender steel..
I have a 10-string tuning pan from a Fender 800/2000 if you need one of those.
Or there's the eBay/Reverb route.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
