Robert Randolph & Calvin Cooke Pic

Post by Chris Templeton »

Here's a picture of Robert Randolph and Calvin Cooke in 2002.
I think it was taken was in Detroit.
Robert's 1st tour.
I gave him the derby which he wore for a short time.

Thanks Craig.
I have seen a lot of steel players hands at work and Robert's are amazing, Right and left hand.

I love both, Robert & Calvin. I enjoy Calvin's "Help Me Make It Through".

Also Roberts "Amped Up". I get in the car and just crank it up! Some of the very best steel on the planet.

Incidentally, Robert can be seen wearing that very derby in front of several thousands of screaming fans, in a few video's still on youtube. As a side note, Robert is the highest paid steel guitarist, in the history of the instrument.
