Post by Nick Reed »

Emmons Guitar Company is finally back in business . . . . with new owners, and some exciting new things getting ready to happen. Kelcey O'Neil and Darin Shiflett have stepped up to the plate to bring back the very best name in Professional Pedal Steel Guitars.

Great news for sure.....

Wishing both gentlemen the best of luck, they certainly have a good product to start their business with.
My one selfish wish would be to fast forward to the first new Lashley Legrande III, I would love to have a brand new one when they offer those. But I'm sure a lot of other steel guitar lovers will be glad to have one of the new push/pull guitars being offered. Again, best of luck and I'm sure this new line of Emmons Steel Guitars will be very profitable for it's new owners, and provide a lot of enjoyment for the steel guitar world.

Jory, I believe they are not taking any orders right now as they start very limited production on their first guitars to make certain everything is as it should be. Also, they want to make certain that they can fulfill orders on a timely basis unlike some who over promise and under deliver with respect to delivery time frames. I could be wrong.

The Emmons company had a room at the TSGA show. I heard several players giving it a workout. The new Emmons sounded like an Emmons should! I wish them all the best.
