You sure can't hurt anything by trying it there.

I wound up having to put mine between the volume pedal and ProFex.
When I tried it last in the chain, it amplified the noise from the ProFex too much.
AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. My current rig of choice is 1993 Emmons LeGrande w/ 108 pups (Jack Strayhorn built for me), Goodrich OMNI Volume Pedal, George L's cables, Goodrich Baby Bloomer and Peavey Nashville 112. Can't get much sweeter.

The recommended placement is for the Bloomer to be the last thing in the chain b4 the preamp.

Jim, So I guess putting it in front of the ProFex is correct?
Works for me.

I guess I’d try that and also try between the Profex and the amp and see which you prefer.

I tried it between the ProFex and my MiniMax amp and the whole system was too noisy.

So before the ProFex it is.

Great product by the way.

Here's what I discovered inadvertantly...

Don't put it before an active pedal unless you're trying to emulate the opening bit for the Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction". If you're looking for a nasty Superfuzz effect, do just that.
Excel Superb D10, Kline U12, Sarno Black Box, Goodrich L120, Boss DD5, Baby Bloomer, 1965 Super Reverb chopped to a head, feeding a mystery PA cab w/ a K130.

They say "thats how it goes". I say "that ain't the way it stays!"

I tried mine in the pre-EQ effects loop in a couple of Peavey amps, and that quieted the hiss considerably, while still producing the desired effect the unit was intended for.
