Steel player for Thompson/Muldaur?
Have not heard of these folks, but sure love the sound! Looks like 4 songs available at least. Teddy Thompson and Jenni Muldaur. Steel right where it should be! Who do we credit?

If you read farther down in this article, Don, you will find that David Mansfield produced and played steel on the record.

Thanks Joachim! Very interesting duo and a nice review "....the simple marriage of weeping vocals and wailing steel..." I like that!Joachim Kettner wrote:https://www.covermesongs.com/2021/05/re ... dolly.html

The apples didn’t fall very far from the tree here did they??…David Mansfield.. here’s a request/challenge.. encourage your new found duo to do a remake of “Midnight at the Oasis†and re-create the famed Amos Garrett solo on pedal steel…Hmmmm!!
I thought Nashville was the roughest, but I know I’ve said the same about them all.
I received my education, drivin through the Nation listenin to Paul!.. ( Franklin that is! )

Not meaning to hijack, but I did that a bunch of years ago on lap steel. It was fun!Mike Holder wrote:The apples didn’t fall very far from the tree here did they??…David Mansfield.. here’s a request/challenge.. encourage your new found duo to do a remake of “Midnight at the Oasis†and re-create the famed Amos Garrett solo on pedal steel…Hmmmm!!
