Very nice! I've only heard this version from Andy Iona:

(Given Andy Iona's prolific songwriting I had assumed it was one of his many tunes, but turns out it is a Johnny Noble song.)
I love that your two main tunings are so easily interchangeable...just flat the A strings from open A...

Waikīkī, at night when the shadows are falling
I hear the rolling surf calling
Calling and calling to me
I hear the rolling surf calling
Calling and calling to me

That's funny, i just picked up my tenth one and im gonna try the C#m on itJoe Cook wrote:Keep playing these great old musical treasures. They need to be heard! I've fallen down the rabbit hole of Hawaiian steel and your videos are my favorite. Just need one more lap steel so I can try C#minor tuning.
Done, it worked out well because they just put a brand new set of Chromes for regular guitar on it, they tuned right up there just fine, the high E is a bit light but glad i didn't have to throw them all out.
