Limited Edition of Fox Vintage Reverb Units CLOSE

I am in the process of building 11 of these tube reverb units

This info is updated a bit from my old post about 9 years ago:

These are based on the reverb circuit of the old Premier 90. I have made many improvements to the original circuit. This is just the best sounding reverb units I have ever heard. Much more like hall reverb, as it used a re-circulating reverb. Unlike the Fender system and others it feeds part of the reverb output back to the tank input for very natural decay. I use a Fender style reverb chassis and cabinet. Our circuit boards are all hand made here in the shop! I also use original Fender style cloth covered, push back wire.

Tubes are 12AU7 and a 12AT7 (ECC81) to drive the reverb tank.

Power supplies are both full wave bridge rectified and filtered. Unlike the original Premier I use a choke on the power supply and more plate voltage to get cleaner headroom thru the unit.
The Premier was prone to distort when driven hard. We solved that by using a larger power transformer (same as in the Fender Reverb unit)

The reverb tank is a MOD brand 2 spring, long decay. These are some of the best tanks I have ever seen produced! They sound awesome as well. It it installed in a Studio Slip reverb bag

I use an 18" IEC male pigtail, allowing disconnection of the the supplied IEC power cord.
That way you only have about 12" of power cord to stuff back in for travel.

This also acts as a tube buffer for your instrument, no need to run a buffer other than the reverb unit if desired. You can sit is beside you and have full reverb control at your fingertips as well as not needing a Matchbox or other buffer. Also features a variable input impedance control for 27K to just above 1 meg input impedance.

The are priced at $899.00 and shipping to the lower 48 only

No plans to build amps. Just this last run of reverb units. Maybe we can do the festival this year in Waycross, Frank. That would be great

Got my supply of Tolex glue in. Will finish the last three this Thursday.
I got the end caps done and could see I was running low on glue.
All are two tone cabinets. Had two folks ask about custom colors. As no one got back to me I’m gonna finish the last three in two tone Like the one below. My wife’s favorite😀

Hi Ken,
Those are great sounding reverbs. Do you still have the 3 left in the 2 tone?
Thanks, Jim

Shipping one with ostrich ends tomorrow. A friend in New York. He has in the past found one of everything I built in the past. Already has a reverb unit and is wanting yet another 😀😀

That leaves four to sell

Thanks
Ken
