Goodrich OMNI VP

Post by Paul Brainard »

Goodrich OMNI $250 shipped (US), barely used. I do not have the power supply for it - they call for a negative tip 9V adapter or a reverse polarity adapter for 1-spot etc. Although in testing it I have found that it seems to work with a standard 9v adapter. It also will run off of a 9v battery.

Functions perfectly, seems to be virtually unused.

The model number is h-OP1 so it is a high-profile model.

Ldr

Post by Paul Brainard »

BTW for those who have been checking out the Goodrich Omni and like the "pot pedal" tone that it has even in active mode - one of the cool things about the LDR is that it has "normal" and "full range" inputs, which basically gives you both options as far as a modern or more traditional sound. But no pot or string to wear out. . . of course it does require power, no battery option. Also it comes with the Matchbox 7A which is a passive tone & volume control that goes before the pedal & can be used to further fine-tune your sound. . .

Note: the Omni is a standard-height model, not a lowboy. . .

Remember the OMNI pedal requires a 9V positive tip power supply or will need a gender changer if used w popular One Spot power supplies.

As I mentioned I have actually found that it works with a normal negative tip adapter - not sure why, I see no sign that it was modified. . . I only actually used it a few times to try out so I don't know if there would be issues doing this regularly. Of course, it runs off a battery as well.
