Pedal Steel Guitar Covers / Leg Bags

Post by John Drury »

Just FYI, there is now a new maker of covers and leg bags. High quality and reasonably priced. She does custom work suited to you and your steel.

I got mine just 2 days after ordering. A great lady to deal with, I highly recommend!

Pix of her work on mine and forumite Ron Hogans guitars as well as contact info attached.

You would have to get with her on that, lot of variables. That said, she is very reasonable with her pricing!

I'll bet she could make a great amp cover as well, I forgot to ask her.

Jimmie,

I am really impressed with her work on the leg bags! The bottoms are reinforced so the threaded end doesn't rip through.

I have one of her nice leg bags. 5 Star product and service. She just finished making a custom cover for me, and it’s in the mail to me now.

Here is a link to her web page:

https://leighpollari.com/custom-covers-1

The one that's coming to me is black marine grade vinyl with royal blue piping on it. Looks nice in the pic she sent to me.

She is generally very responsive to e-mail and is a pleasure to deal with.

I had her make a cover for a Zum I bought. It fits well, looks good and was reasonably priced. It was a smooth transaction.

MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, as well as some older MSAs, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Recently added a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored blue Rose, named the "Blue Bird" to the herd. Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic again that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also added a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks.

Monday, I received my new steel guitar cover from Leigh. This is for a GFI S-10 Expo. Mine is made from black Marine grade vinyl, with dark blue piping and trim. Very nice. Excellent work, and very heavy duty. The fit is perfect. I attached some photos. The top is still wrinkled a bit from being folded in shipment, but will flatten out with use. Fast service. Excellent communications.
