Colored Cover Plates on a Ricky Panda?
Is this an “Art Attempt†some previous owners whim, or did Rickenbacker have a Special Factory Run?
Anybody ever see one of these Pandas in the wild?

colored Rick plates
I bought the "blue" Rick from a pawn shop in Fullerton Calif about 1970. The panels are made of a cellulose material, not metal.
