Post by Dennis Voges »

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the zero pedal is used for. See

Dennis

Some players use the first pedal for 'the Franklin Change' and they then call the first pedal 'the Zero pedal.'

Then the A, B, and C pedals are moved one pedal to the right.

I have 2 PSGs with a 0 pedal. Both came setup to flat the 3rds, meaning change a major to a minor. 3rd fret +0 pedal = G min.

I do like Edward Dixon does. That G# to G change works great with Pedal A to produce a minor 6 chord.
