Should I get a Encore or Discovery. ?

Paul, both have a great reputation. I would consider the availability and your needs. I don't know how many additional pedals or knees each can take. I suggest you contact both and make a comparison then choose what best suits your goals.

As Larry said, they are both great guitars and very reputable builders. As a Mullen player myself, I would choose the Discovery. But, you couldn't go wrong with either. Good luck.

FWIW, after some time with both models: the Discovery is a tighter more precise unit-newer mullen mechanics are generally a dream to play and work with. I much prefer the sounds an Encore makes, and took one on the road for about a year problem free. For two sub-50lb 3x4 E9 single necks, the other notable difference is price.

I have an Encore with the humbucking pickup and it sounds great! I enjoy playing it as much as I do my D10 Zum and my P/P Emmons.

Whatâ€™s the wait time for The Zum stage one an Encore.
I was told itâ€™s a year.
